Lead Project Engineer - Substation

• Lead technical execution of substation projects, including physical design, protection & control systems, and commissioning support.
• Serve as the primary technical authority on assigned projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, utility requirements, and internal engineering practices.
• Oversee and review engineering deliverables such as calculations, one-line diagrams, protection schemes, and construction drawings.
• Provide direction and mentorship to project engineers and design staff, supporting technical development and workload coordination.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to define scope, resolve technical issues, and maintain project alignment.
• Lead design reviews and ensure quality control across all project documentation and deliverables.
• Support field activities including site visits, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning as required.
• Contribute to project planning, risk assessments, and technical proposal development.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and promote a strong safety culture across all project phases.
• Identify and implement engineering best practices and process improvements.
• Utilize engineering software and Microsoft Office tools for analysis, documentation, and reporting.
