With demand for grid expansion continuing to rise due to electrification, data centers, aging infrastructure, and renewable energy growth, they have built a strong backlog of long-term utility projects and are continuing to expand their engineering leadership team.Job DescriptionLead engineering execution for transmission line, substation, and distribution projects from conceptual design through construction supportManage technical aspects of projects including scope, schedules, budgets, QA/QC, and client coordinationServe as Engineer of Record for T&D projects when requiredOversee detailed design packages including:Transmission line routing and designSubstation physical and protection/control coordinationDistribution system improvements and upgradesCoordinate multidisciplinary teams including civil, structural, electrical, environmental, and permitting groupsReview calculations, drawings, specifications, and engineering deliverables for accuracy and code complianceSupport proposal development, project planning, and client presentationsMentor and develop junior engineers and designers within the Power Delivery groupMaintain strong client relationships with utilities, cooperatives, municipalities, and EPC partnersSupport construction activities including RFIs, field reviews, and commissioning coordinationMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
