Job Description

  • Lead execution of large-scale transmission and power delivery projects from initiation through closeout
  • Manage projects involving transmission lines, substations, switchyards, and utility infrastructure
  • Oversee projects ranging from 69kV, 115kV, 138kV, 230kV, 345kV, and up to 500kV systems
  • Direct multidisciplinary engineering, construction, and field teams
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for utility clients and key stakeholders
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and staffing plans
  • Drive project performance related to safety, quality, scope, cost, and schedule
  • Lead construction coordination, outage planning, commissioning, and field execution activities
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Manage contracts, change orders, and project financial reporting
  • Mentor and support Project Managers, Engineers, and Project Controls staff
  • Support grid modernization, system hardening, and renewable energy interconnection initiatives
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on project strategy and client growth opportunities

The Successful Applicant

A successful Lead Project Manager - Transmission & Power Delivery should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience managing transmission and power delivery projects
  • Strong utility or EPC project management background
  • Experience leading high-voltage transmission infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of transmission construction practices, utility standards, and project controls
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and project teams
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar scheduling tools
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills
  • PMP and/or PE preferred
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed
