Job Description

The Superintendent is responsible for:

  • Overseeing & managing Large projects from start through completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards
  • Coordinating & collaborating with necessary project parties
  • Leading site personnel, providing guidance to ensure the highest levels of safety, productivity, and performance
  • Developing relationships with clients, and maintaining open lines of communication
  • Managing project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, daily logs, and progress reports
  • Proactively identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with all individuals involved in the project
  • Upholding company image / professionalism

The Successful Applicant

The right candidate has the following qualifications:

  • True Lead/Senior Super can run projects valued $100M+
  • 8+ years experience as a Superintendent with a GC
  • Strong background in large scale ground-up construction (not residential or multifamily)
  • Good tenure, coming from reputable firm
  • Commutable to Norwalk/ Stanford/ Greenwich CT area
