With a strong project backlog and continued growth, we provide long-term stability, technical leadership opportunities, and a collaborative engineering culture.Job DescriptionLead the engineering and design of overhead transmission line projects ranging from 69kV, 115kV, 138kV, 161kV, 230kV, 345kV, and up to 500kVOversee line routing, structure spotting, conductor selection, sag & tension analysis, and clearance studiesReview and approve engineering calculations, design packages, construction drawings, and technical reportsProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers and designersCoordinate with structural, civil, geotechnical, substation, and protection & controls teams throughout project executionSupport steel pole, lattice tower, monopole, and wood pole transmission line projectsUtilize and oversee design activities within PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, PLS-TOWER, AutoCAD, and MicroStationEnsure compliance with NESC, utility standards, client specifications, and applicable industry codesParticipate in project planning, scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocationServe as a primary technical point of contact for utility clients, contractors, and internal stakeholdersSupport construction activities including RFIs, field issue resolution, and design modificationsContribute to proposal development, project pursuits, and business development initiativesSupport renewable energy interconnection projects including solar, wind, battery storage, and generation tie-linesMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
