Job Description

  • Manage complex calendars, meetings, appointments, and deadlines for attorneys.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements and detailed itineraries.
  • Prepare, edit, format, and proofread legal correspondence, memoranda, and other documentation.
  • Enter attorney time records and support legal billing and invoicing processes.
  • Liaise professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Handle incoming communications and ensure requests are addressed promptly.
  • Maintain accurate client records and legal files.
  • Assist with reporting, tracking initiatives, presentations, and special projects.
  • Provide administrative support while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced practice environment.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal Executive Assistant should have:

  • Previous experience as an Executive Assistant or Legal Executive Assistant within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Experience supporting senior attorneys, partners, or executives.
  • Strong understanding of legal billing, timekeeping, and administrative processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Highly proactive, polished, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
