The Litigation Paralegal will provide essential support to the legal team by managing case files, conducting legal research, and preparing documentation to ensure smooth case progression. The litigation paralegals prep for and attend trial, which may require travel domestically or internationally.

Job Description

  • Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and compile findings for case preparation.
  • Organize and maintain case files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of information.
  • Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel to schedule meetings, depositions, and hearings.
  • Review and analyze documents for relevance and accuracy during the discovery process.
  • Assist in trial preparation, including creating exhibits, organizing evidence, and managing trial logistics.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal procedures, court rules, and filing requirements.
  • Provide general administrative support to the legal team as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Litigation Paralegal should have:

  • 2+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
  • Experience in a global Big Law environment strongly preferred.
  • Experience with all stages of litigiation, including e-discovery, e-filing, and trial preparation.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • A BS/BA from an accredited college or university or paralegal certificate required.
