Job Description

  • Assist attorneys with case management, including organizing and maintaining case files.
  • Prepare and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct legal research and compile relevant case law and statutes.
  • Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and outside vendors to gather necessary documentation.
  • Manage deadlines and ensure timely submission of court filings and other legal documents.
  • Provide trial preparation support, including organizing exhibits and drafting trial notebooks.
  • Monitor and summarize depositions, hearings, and trials as needed.
  • Assist with administrative duties related to the legal department's operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Litigation Paralegal should have:

  • Must be a paralegal
  • Has done trial prep or has been to trial
  • A strong understanding of legal terminology and litigation processes.
  • Proficiency in legal research and legal document preparation.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant legal software and tools.
