Job Description

  • Perform complete machine setups and changeovers on impact letter stamping presses, wire forming equipment, drill presses, kick presses, and spot welders.
  • Adjust and optimize machine settings to ensure quality production, operational efficiency, and repeatable results.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, tooling, and process-related issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
  • Train and support machine operators on proper equipment operation, safety procedures, and best manufacturing practices.
  • Collaborate with production leadership to meet manufacturing schedules, delivery timelines, and operational goals.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow, machine performance, and production processes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to perform accurate machine setups and adjustments.
  • Support tooling maintenance, modifications, and basic fabrication activities while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

The Successful Applicant

  • Hands-on machinist or machine setup professional with proven experience working on wire forming or similar manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot machine, tooling, and production issues independently.
  • Detail-oriented individual who can accurately read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Self-motivated team player who takes ownership of machine setups, process performance, and production quality.
  • Practical problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset and focus on operational efficiency.
  • Effective communicator who can train, support, and collaborate with machine operators and production leadership.
