Job Description

  • Develop process and mechanical engineering designs for Consumer Products manufacturing systems, equipment, and facilities.
  • Conduct on-site assessments at manufacturing plants as needed to gather data, validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and support installation or commissioning activities.
  • Prepare detailed engineering calculations, equipment specifications, P&IDs, layouts, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineers, project managers, and plant personnel to ensure project success.
  • Support project planning, schedule coordination, and design reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards, and company work processes.

The Successful Applicant

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or related discipline).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in process engineering.
  • Strong background in Consumer Products manufacturing - equipment, utilities, and process systems.
  • Ability and willingness to be on-site at Oxnard area manufacturing facilities as needed.
  • Proficiency with engineering software and tools (AutoCAD, Fathom, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and field troubleshooting skills.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a consulting engineering or EPC environment.
  • Experience in the papermaking or related industries.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
