The Project Manager will oversee multiple mechanical construction projects, managing financials, schedules, subcontractors, procurement, and client relationships from project kickoff through closeout. This is a true "plug-and-play" opportunity for an experienced Mechanical PM who can step into an active backlog and immediately contribute to project success.

Job Description

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects totaling approximately $20M+ in work volume
  • Oversee project financials, forecasting, budgeting, and profitability
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field operations
  • Manage procurement and equipment buyout activities
  • Track schedules and project milestones
  • Lead client meetings and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Review change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
  • Partner closely with field leadership and foremen
  • Support project execution from preconstruction through closeout
  • Travel periodically to project sites and company headquarters as needed

The Successful Applicant

Required Experience

  • Experience as a Project Manager within the mechanical construction industry
  • Strong HVAC and plumbing construction knowledge
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Experience with project financials and forecasting
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • Proficiency with:
    • Microsoft Project
    • Excel
    • Spectrum



Preferred Experience

  • Controls experience strongly preferred
  • Mechanical contractor background preferred over GC experience
  • Federal, military, healthcare, mission-critical, or institutional project experience
  • Design-Build experience
  • Experience managing projects ranging from $500K to $40M
