We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager with MTA or NYC SCA experience to support the delivery of complex public-sector construction projects across New York City. Job Description

    • Assist in managing all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
    • Coordinate with owners, subcontractors, consultants, and government agencies (MTA/SCA)
    • Support project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control activities
    • Review and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
    • Ensure compliance with public agency regulations, safety protocols, and contractual requirements
    • Participate in site meetings, progress reporting, and stakeholder communication
    • Help monitor project milestones, risks, and quality standards
    • Maintain accurate records and support project reporting systems

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:

    • 2-5+ years of experience in construction project management or project engineering
    • Prior experience with MTA and/or NYC SCA projects is highly preferred
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
    • Strong understanding of public works procedures, documentation, and compliance standards
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
    • Proficiency with construction software (Procore, Primavera, MS Project, etc.)
