Job Description

    • Assist Project Managers in the planning, coordination, and execution of healthcare construction projects
    • Support project scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking
    • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site activities
    • Help ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and NYC building codes
    • Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
    • Attend project meetings and assist with reporting to stakeholders
    • Support quality control and help drive on-time project delivery

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:

    • Experience working as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer within a general contractor
    • Exposure to commercial healthcare construction projects (hospitals, medical offices, labs, or similar)
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Knowledge of construction processes, documentation, and project controls
    • Familiarity with NYC construction environment and regulations is advantageous
    • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
