Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Managers with all phases of multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Track project schedules, budgets, subcontractor commitments, and procurement activities.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and ownership groups.
  • Monitor project costs and assist with budget forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Support contract administration and subcontractor management.
  • Participate in project meetings and maintain accurate meeting documentation.
  • Track material procurement and long-lead items to support project schedules.
  • Assist with project buyout and scope review activities.
  • Help identify and resolve project issues before they impact budget or schedule.
  • Support project closeout activities, punch lists, warranty items, and turnover documentation.

The Successful Applicant

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial or multifamily construction.
  • Experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, Field Engineer, or similar construction management role.
  • Exposure to ground-up multifamily, mixed-use, commercial, senior living, or large residential projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction documents, contracts, and project administration.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative.
  • Proactive and eager to learn.
  • Strong communicator who can build relationships with clients and trade partners.
  • Self-motivated with long-term leadership ambitions.
  • Organized and accountable with a sense of project ownership.
