Job Description

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing multifamily construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure project goals and timelines are met.
  • Monitor project budgets and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Review project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and plans.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other team members to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Identify and address potential risks or issues that could impact project success.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to project stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Multifamily Assistant Project Manager should have:

  • 2-5 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Multifamily experience required, with strong preference for garden‑style apartments.
  • Stable work history; jumpy resumes will not be considered.
  • Experience with reputable multifamily or commercial GCs strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a growing, fast‑paced environment with evolving processes.
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow‑through.
  • Local to Charleston, SC preferred; relocation considered on a case‑by‑case basis.
