Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of national accounts, with responsibility for both retention and expansion
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth, market share, and long-term customer partnerships
  • Identify and close new business opportunities within targeted consumer and food packaging customers
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, supply chain, and commercial leadership to deliver tailored solutions
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform sales strategy and product positioning
  • Travel to customer sites, trade shows, and key account meetings across the Midwest and East Coast

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in national account management, business development, or strategic sales within food and/or retail packaging
  • MUST HAVE strong expertise in plastic packaging materials such as PET, rPET, PP, PETG, and HIPS
  • Experience with thermoforming and/or injection molding processes
  • Proven track record of managing and growing large, complex accounts while driving new business
  • Willingness and ability to travel
