The ideal candidate will work closely with Project Managers and field teams while gaining exposure to all phases of construction from preconstruction through closeout.

Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager will:

  • Assist Project Managers with day-to-day project administration and coordination
  • Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting activities
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and project stakeholders
  • Track project schedules and help identify potential delays or issues
  • Monitor project costs and assist with budget management
  • Participate in project meetings and maintain meeting documentation
  • Conduct occasional site visits to monitor progress and project execution
  • Assist with procurement and material tracking
  • Support project closeout activities and turnover documentation
  • Ensure project information is organized, accurate, and up to date

The Successful Applicant

The successful Assistant Project Manager will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field required
  • 1-4 years of construction experience preferred
  • Internship or co-op experience with a General Contractor is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and clients
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the construction industry
