We partner with major utilities, EPC firms, and energy developers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions for critical transmission and distribution projects ranging from system upgrades and reliability improvements to renewable energy interconnections and grid expansion initiatives.Job DescriptionPerform detailed overhead transmission line engineering and design from conceptual through IFC stagesDevelop line layouts, profiles, and structure spotting using PLS-CADDExecute sag-tension analysis, conductor selection, and clearance studiesPerform structural loading analysis for steel poles, lattice towers, and wood pole systemsSupport PLS-POLE and PLS-TOWER modeling and loading tree developmentCoordinate with civil, geotechnical, substation, and construction teamsReview and apply NESC, ASCE, IEEE, and utility-specific standardsPrepare and review:Construction packagesPlan & profile drawingsBOMs/material listsStructure loading documentsEngineering calculationsSupport routing studies, permitting coordination, and constructability reviewsInterface directly with utility clients, EPC teams, and field personnelParticipate in QA/QC and technical peer reviewsSupport grid modernization, reliability, and renewable interconnection projectsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
