An established construction management firm is looking to add a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager to its growing Raleigh office. This role supports public sector projects across the Triangle and surrounding areas, offering strong exposure, autonomy, and a collaborative "all hands on deck" environment.

Job Description

  • Support CMaRisk public sector projects from preconstruction through delivery
  • Assist with contracts and processes involving the NC State Construction Office
  • Manage project controls including documentation, reporting, and scheduling support
  • Utilize project management software (ProjectSite or similar to Procore)
  • Coordinate with project teams and participate in occasional site visits to Fayetteville and Greensboro

The Successful Applicant

A successful PE / APM should have:

  • College degree preferred with 2+ years of construction experience
  • CMaR experience on public projects strongly preferred
  • Experience with contracts and NC SCO processes is highly desirable
  • Stable work history (no job-hopping) and strong technical aptitude

What's on Offer

Project Engineer: $60,000 - $80,000 base salary

Assistant Project Manager: $70,000 - $100,000 base salary

  • Car allowance negotiable at APM level
