The company is also expanding into private work, providing additional growth and strategic exposure.Job DescriptionBid Process Ownership: Manage the full bid lifecycle, including opportunity identification, scheduling, and go/no-go decisions in partnership with leadership.Subcontractor Coordination: Lead subcontractor outreach, bid coverage tracking, and gap resolution while maintaining strong relationships across a diverse subcontractor base.Bid Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all submissions meet strict public works requirements, including insurance, bonding, certifications, addenda, and agency-specific documentation.Market Intelligence: Gather and analyze competitive data, bidder activity, and pricing trends to inform strategy and improve win rates.Bid Day Participation: Attend public bid openings and track results, reporting on apparent low bidders and bid spreads.Project Handoff: Facilitate smooth transition to project management teams post-award, including subcontractor commitments and scope alignment.Database & Process Management: Maintain subcontractor databases, prequalification processes, and continuously refine bid playbooks.Business Development Support: Assist with pre-construction efforts tied to the firm's growing private project portfolio.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
