Job Description

As Procurement Manager, you will report directly to the local Managing Director with a dotted line into global procurement leadership, taking ownership of sourcing and purchasing strategy across the site.

  • Lead procurement activities for direct and indirect materials, services, and capital projects
  • Manage and develop a Purchasing Supervisor, with indirect oversight of a Buyer
  • Drive supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, and risk management
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and long‑term supplier agreements
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, Finance, and Quality
  • Support engineer‑to‑order manufacturing and operational growth initiatives
  • Align local procurement activity with global policies and commodity strategies

The Successful Applicant

For the Procurement Manager we are seeking:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 7+ years of procurement or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience operating within matrix organizations and multicultural, global teams
  • Strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract management
  • Hands‑on experience with SAP enterprise resource planning systems
  • Confident leadership style with the ability to operate independently and influence senior stakeholders
  • Experience supporting engineer‑to‑order or industrial manufacturing environments is highly desirable
