Job Description

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality, and cost-effective procurement solutions across a multi-site operation.

  • Manage sourcing activities including RFQs, bid evaluations, and supplier selection
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and general terms and conditions for procurement agreements
  • Support and lead contract lifecycle activities including renewals, benchmarking, and performance tracking
  • Oversee procurement operations, ensuring purchase orders and requisitions align with agreed terms
  • Conduct vendor performance analysis, focusing on safety, service quality, and delivery metrics
  • Act as a key liaison between procurement and cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, and Finance
  • Support procurement systems, including acting as a subject matter expert for Procure-to-Pay platforms

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Specialist should have:

  • Minimum 5+ years of procurement or Buyer experience within industrial, engineering, or operational environments
  • Proven experience negotiating commercial terms and managing supplier relationships
  • Strong understanding of sourcing strategies, contract management, and procurement processes
  • Experience with Procure-to-Pay systems (Coupa preferred) and ERP platforms (SAP preferred)
  • Ability to analyze supplier performance and drive cost savings initiatives
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, operational setting
  • Warehouse or inventory experience is advantageous
