Job Description

As a Project Coordinator - Construction - Manhattan, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting Project Managers throughout the construction lifecycle
  • Managing project documentation, logs, and correspondence
  • Tracking RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Coordinating subcontractors, vendors, architects, and consultants
  • Maintaining project schedules and milestone updates
  • Assisting with procurement and material tracking
  • Preparing meeting agendas and distributing minutes
  • Monitoring project budgets and contract documentation
  • Supporting field teams with project coordination activities
  • Assisting with project reporting and status updates
  • Maintaining organized project files and records
  • Supporting project closeout and turnover activities

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
  • 1-4 years of construction experience in project coordination, project engineering, or administration
  • Experience with interior renovation or fit-out projects preferred
  • Understanding of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and project management software
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Desire to grow into an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager role
