Job Description

The Project Director will report to a senior operations executive and provide strategic leadership across a portfolio of active projects. The successful candidate will drive financial performance, contract administration, project controls, and operational consistency across multiple regions.

  • Lead commercial operations, project controls, and contract administration across a multi-region portfolio.
  • Drive financial accountability through forecasting, budgeting, cost control, and performance reporting.
  • Develop and implement standardized operating procedures and best practices across projects.
  • Oversee contract execution, change management processes, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with project leadership teams to support successful project delivery and operational performance.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop regional teams while ensuring appropriate resource allocation and workload management.
  • Champion technology adoption, reporting tools, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and visibility.

The Successful Applicant

For the Project Director we are seeking:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience within construction operations, commercial management, project controls, or project leadership.
  • Proven success leading large project portfolios, multiple business units, or geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, project financials, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Experience implementing operational improvements, governance frameworks, and standardized processes.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management and construction technology platforms, including Procore and similar systems.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence organizational performance and drive strategic initiatives.
