We are committed to engineering excellence, safety, sustainability, and advancing the future of reliable energy infrastructure.Job DescriptionLead engineering and design activities for 765kV overhead transmission line projects from conceptual development through detailed design and construction support.Prepare and review:Transmission line routing studiesStructure spotting and profilingPLS-CADD modelsSag and tension calculationsStructure loading treesFoundation loading criteriaConductor and shield wire selectionDevelop engineering packages including:Plan and profile drawingsStructure assembly drawingsStringing chartsBill of materialsConstruction specificationsCoordinate with civil, geotechnical, environmental, survey, permitting, and substation engineering teams.Ensure compliance with:NESCIEEE standardsUtility design standardsApplicable state and federal regulationsPerform design reviews and quality checks on internal and subcontractor deliverables.Support procurement activities including technical evaluations and vendor coordination.Provide technical support during construction, field inspections, outage planning, and commissioning activities.Participate in client meetings, project planning, and technical presentations.Mentor junior engineers and designers.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
