Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

    • Support Project Managers with the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects
    • Assist with subcontractor management, procurement, and project buyout activities
    • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and project documentation
    • Track project schedules and assist with project reporting and cost control efforts
    • Coordinate communication between owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams
    • Conduct project site visits and assist with field coordination activities
    • Help identify and resolve project issues while maintaining budget and schedule objectives
    • Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents
    • Assist with project closeout, punch list management, and turnover documentation
    • Develop strong relationships with clients, design partners, and trade contractors
    • Support project teams in delivering exceptional customer service and project outcomes

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in commercial construction, internships, co-ops, or construction project support roles
  • Experience or exposure to healthcare, higher education, industrial, manufacturing, commercial, or other large-scale construction projects is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of construction documents, project coordination, and construction processes
  • Ability to communicate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Experience with scheduling, cost controls, estimating, subcontractor coordination, or managing portions of a project scope is a plus
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn from experienced construction professionals
  • Team-focused personality with strong problem-solving abilities and a desire to build a long-term career in construction management
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and interest in advancing into future Project Manager positions
