Our client is seeking a Project Engineer with 1-2+ years of construction experience to support a growing pipeline of occupied healthcare renovation and addition projects. This role will work closely with Project Managers, assisting with project coordination, documentation, scheduling, subcontractor management, and overall project execution.

Job Description

  • Support Project Managers in the day-to-day execution of construction projects
  • Coordinate project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes
  • Assist with project scheduling, procurement tracking, and subcontractor coordination
  • Monitor project progress and help ensure schedules and budgets remain on track
  • Participate in owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings
  • Help maintain project documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support field teams to ensure quality, safety, and project objectives are achieved
  • Assist in the successful delivery of occupied healthcare renovations, additions, and other commercial projects

The Successful Applicant

  • 1-2+ years of experience in construction, construction management, or a related field
  • Experience working for a general contractor, construction manager, or subcontractor
  • Exposure to commercial construction projects preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred
  • Healthcare project exposure is a plus but not required
