Reporting directly to a Project Manager, the Project Engineer will support project teams across a variety of occupied healthcare renovation and addition projects throughout Connecticut. This individual will play a key role in project administration, coordination, documentation, and communication with field and office teams.

Job Description

  • Assist Project Managers with daily project coordination and administration
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and project documentation
  • Coordinate activities between subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and internal teams
  • Support procurement efforts, material tracking, and project scheduling activities
  • Maintain project logs and ensure accurate record keeping
  • Participate in project meetings and help drive action items to completion
  • Assist with project reporting, closeout documentation, and turnover processes
  • Support project teams in maintaining schedule, quality, and client expectations

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Engineer should have:

  • 1-2+ years of construction experience required
  • Commercial construction experience preferred
  • Candidates from subcontractor backgrounds are encouraged to apply
  • Experience in a Project Engineer, Field Engineer, Coordinator, or similar role
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with Procore and/or Bluebeam preferred but not required
