Job Description



Key Responsibilities

This Project Engineer will be based on-site and report directly to project leadership, partnering closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, subcontractors, and clients to help drive successful project execution from preconstruction through closeout.

  • Support the day-to-day management of commercial construction projects throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, project documentation, meeting minutes, and drawing distribution.
  • Coordinate activities between field teams, subcontractors, consultants, and ownership representatives.
  • Assist with project scheduling, cost tracking, procurement, and change management processes.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify opportunities to improve execution and client service.
  • Contribute to safety, quality, and operational excellence initiatives on-site.
  • Participate in mentoring and development activities while helping support junior team members and interns.

For the Project Engineer we are seeking:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • 1-5 years of construction experience with a general contractor.
  • Experience supporting commercial, multifamily, healthcare, education, hospitality, industrial, or aviation projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, documentation, and project controls.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a genuine desire to learn, collaborate, mentor, and contribute to team success.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, site-based environment.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding client experiences, not simply managing projects.
