Job Description

The Project Executive provides full lifecycle leadership on large, complex academic construction projects while serving as a senior ambassador to clients and partners.

  • Lead higher education projects from preconstruction through final closeout
  • Provide executive oversight of multiple project teams, including Senior Project Managers and Superintendents
  • Ensure successful delivery of projects exceeding $30M in value, with accountability for schedule, budget, and quality
  • Serve as the primary senior point of contact for owners, architects, and consultants
  • Drive project profitability through forecasting, risk mitigation, and cost control
  • Support strategic growth and repeat‑client development within the education sector
  • Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera Scheduling, BIM, and Microsoft Office 365 to maintain operational excellence

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • 10-12+ years of experience with a commercial general contractor
  • Proven success leading higher education projects from start to finish
  • Experience delivering projects valued at $30M or greater
  • Strong financial acumen with a track record of profitable project execution
  • Executive‑level communication skills and client‑facing presence
  • Ability to mentor teams and lead through influence rather than micromanagement
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera Scheduling, BIM, and Microsoft Office 365 (preferred)
