Job Description

    • Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
    • Collaborate with project stakeholders to maintain schedules, budgets, and overall project performance.
    • Support field operations and provide leadership and guidance to Superintendents throughout project execution.
    • Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and project teams to drive successful project outcomes.
    • Participate in estimating, budgeting, and preconstruction activities when required.
    • Assist with design-build project delivery and collaborate with internal design and construction teams.
    • Maintain strong client relationships and represent the company professionally both on and off the jobsite.
    • Contribute across multiple areas of the business in a lean, highly collaborative office environment.
    • Monitor project documentation, reporting, and communication to ensure project goals are achieved.
    • Support ongoing growth initiatives as the Charlotte office expands its project portfolio.

    The Successful Applicant

    Must-Have Qualifications

    • Project Manager experience or strong Assistant Project Manager experience within commercial construction.
    • Experience delivering projects in the Charlotte, North Carolina market.
    • Strong knowledge of local subcontractors, permitting processes, and construction workflows.
    • Sitework and grading experience.
    • Ability to work closely with field teams and provide support and direction to Superintendents.
    • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
    • A proactive, team-oriented, "can-do" attitude.



    Preferred Experience

    • Ground-up commercial construction experience.
    • Experience with structural construction scopes.
    • Estimating experience.
    • Design-build project delivery experience.
    • Experience working within a smaller, entrepreneurial construction environment where team members wear multiple hats.
