Alabama based General Contractor established over 10 years ago is searching for an experienced Project Manager able to land and take on $10M+ projects. We are looking for an individual with the desire to work collaboratively with an excellent team and deliver quality results on par with the company's high standards. This opportunity involves minimal travel as the company focuses its efforts across the Gulf Coast region.

Job Description

  • Provide overall leadership to entire project team
  • Manage and develop assigned staff toward maximum job performance and career potential.
  • Build and maintain rapport with architects, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Understand and administer contract and subcontract agreements.
  • Coordinate with Superintendents daily to ensure effective project execution onsite
  • Manage budget and financial reporting
  • Interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget.
  • Manage the Quality Assurance/Quality Control program.
  • Office-based role with standard site visits

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of experience in Construction Project Management
  • Must have experience managing ground-up commercial projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of construction technology and details. Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings
  • Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
