Job Description

  • Manage commercial construction projects through all phases, from planning and procurement to completion and turnover.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasting reports.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with field teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents to ensure successful execution.
  • Lead subcontractor selection, negotiation, buyout, and contract administration processes.
  • Monitor project costs, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Manage change orders, requests for information (RFIs), submittals, and project documentation.
  • Conduct regular project meetings and communicate progress updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, safety policies, and quality control requirements.
  • Support business development efforts by helping maintain strong client and industry relationships.
  • Mentor and collaborate with Assistant Project Managers and project support staff.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial construction.
  • Proven experience managing ground-up and renovation projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, schedules, contracts, and project financials.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with project management and construction software platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and construction industry best practices.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and high-quality project outcomes.
