Job Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing multiple commercial interior construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Taking full ownership of project budgets, schedules, subcontractor coordination, and client communication.
  • Leading projects ranging from approximately $1M-$2M in value within active, fast-paced environments.
  • Developing and maintaining project schedules to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinating with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders to drive successful project execution.
  • Working closely with the Director of Operations and Assistant Project Manager to support operational goals.
  • Proactively identifying and resolving project challenges to maintain budget and schedule expectations.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients and project partners throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Primarily working on-site in Washington, DC with a schedule of 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

  • Minimum 6 years of construction project management experience.
  • Proven experience managing commercial construction projects independently.
  • Strong background delivering interior construction projects, ideally valued between $1M-$2M.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and field operations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and project teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Must be comfortable working primarily on-site in the Washington, DC area.
