Job Description

As a Project Manager - Construction - Manhattan, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets
  • Coordinating owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Managing subcontractor procurement and buyout processes
  • Reviewing and processing RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Monitoring project costs and preparing financial forecasts
  • Leading project meetings and providing client updates
  • Identifying project risks and implementing solutions
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Supporting field teams to achieve project milestones
  • Managing project documentation and reporting
  • Overseeing project closeout and turnover activities

The Successful Applicant

The successful Project Manager - Construction - Manhattan

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in construction
  • Experience managing projects throughout Manhattan or NYC
  • Strong knowledge of contracts, project controls, budgeting, and scheduling
  • Experience with commercial, multifamily, hospitality, healthcare, or mixed-use projects
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven track record of delivering successful construction projects
