Job Description

As a Project Manager - Construction - Manhattan, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing luxury residential renovation projects from preconstruction through completion
  • Developing and maintaining project budgets, schedules, and forecasts
  • Coordinating architects, interior designers, consultants, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Managing procurement, contracts, and subcontractor buyouts
  • Reviewing and processing RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Overseeing custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, plaster, metal, and specialty finish packages
  • Leading homeowner, architect, and project team meetings
  • Monitoring project costs and maintaining financial controls
  • Managing co-op and condominium board requirements and approvals
  • Collaborating closely with Superintendents to ensure successful field execution
  • Managing project documentation, reporting, and closeout procedures
  • Identifying project risks and implementing proactive solutions
  • Ensuring all work meets project specifications and luxury residential quality standards

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in construction
  • Extensive experience managing high-end residential interior renovations
  • Proven experience with penthouses, brownstones, duplexes, townhouses, or luxury apartment projects
  • Strong understanding of custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, plaster, and specialty finishes
  • Experience managing high-net-worth homeowners, architects, and interior designers
  • Knowledge of co-op and condominium renovation requirements
  • Strong budgeting, scheduling, and cost control experience
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
