Job Description

As Project Manager - Construction - Queens, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets
  • Managing contracts, subcontracts, and procurement activities
  • Coordinating architects, engineers, owners, and subcontractors
  • Monitoring project performance and financial reporting
  • Reviewing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborating with field leadership to maintain project milestones
  • Conducting client meetings and providing project updates
  • Managing project forecasting and cost controls
  • Supporting project turnover and closeout processes

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager - Construction - Queens should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in the construction industry
  • Experience managing projects within New York City
  • Strong understanding of construction scheduling and cost management
  • Knowledge of contracts, change management, and project controls
  • Experience overseeing commercial, residential, healthcare, education, or mixed-use projects
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong financial and analytical capabilities
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar software
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines effectively
