Job Description

The Responsibilties of a Project Manager:Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to client expectations.

Oversee project planning, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, cost controls, documentation, submittals, RFIs, and closeout activities.

Lead preconstruction efforts including estimating, value engineering, constructability reviews, logistics planning, cash flow projections, and bid management.

Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to drive successful project execution.

Manage one large project or multiple concurrent projects while maintaining strong communication and client relationships.

Support business development efforts through networking, proposal development, industry engagement, and identification of new project opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

A succuessful Project Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Building Construction, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within a General Contractor or Construction Management environment.
  • Proven experience leading commercial projects ranging from $5M-$25M.
  • Experience managing both renovation and ground-up construction projects.
  • Strong financial management, scheduling, and project controls expertise.
  • Ability to lead project teams and foster collaboration among stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and client service skills.
  • Highly accountable, self-motivated, and results-driven.
  • Proficiency with construction technology platforms; experience with Procore and Primavera P6 is preferred.
