Previous project work at pulp mills is required.Manage all aspects of business projects from inception through executionDevelop and document the scope of workUnderstand project success criteria and ensure client expectations are metDevelop and track project costsIdentify and communicate changes to SOWIdentify and effectively respond to clients issues and needsEnsure value is provided to the client and develop & earn their trustEnsure the clients policies and procedures are communicated and followed by the Jedson and project teamReview and manage all project deliverablesSecure resources needed for team to execute work effectively (i.e. drawings, reports, site visits, etc.)Ensure PO's are received from the client before work begins and ensure services are rendered within the approved budget; also ensure invoices are paid timelyAnticipate future work associated or derived from ongoing projectsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantWHO YOU ARE:Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in engineeringProject Management experience on engineering projects through installation and start-up/commissioningKnowledge of front-end engineering and detailed engineering processExperience in managing contractors, sequencing workflow, developing an integrated schedule, managing critical path, and change management.Proven Customer Account Manager with experience in developing opportunities within existing clientsDemonstrated experience in driving projects within budget from initiation through a successful and timely conclusionCoordinate and supervise project implementation, control project costs, monitor progress and quality of the projectsStrong interpersonal skills to build and foster positive client relationshipsPerform activities to improve the reliability and efficiency of operationsWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary ranging from $140,000 to $190,000 annually.Medical, dental, and vision benefits.Per diem included and/or expenses for travelAccess to medical, dental, and vision benefits.Opportunity to work in a key role within the energy and natural resources sector.This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Engineer to make a meaningful impact.
