We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to lead high-end custom residential construction projects throughout Boston and the immediate surrounding area. This individual will oversee complex renovation and custom construction projects while working closely with clients, field teams, subcontractors, and internal leadership to deliver exceptional results.

Job Description

  • Lead high-end custom residential construction projects from planning through completion.
  • Manage complex renovation and custom building projects ranging into the multi-million-dollar market.
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, procurement, and overall project execution.
  • Coordinate closely with field teams to maintain quality, schedule, and project expectations.
  • Build strong relationships with homeowners, architects, designers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and resolve construction challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain the exceptional quality and attention to detail expected on luxury residential projects.
  • Collaborate with company leadership and internal teams in an open, team-oriented environment.
  • Split time between active Boston-area job sites and the company's South End office.

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Project Manager should have:

  • 10+ years of construction experience with a strong track record of project leadership.
  • Significant experience managing custom residential construction and renovation projects.
  • Experience delivering projects in the approximately $3M-$20M range.
  • Must have direct experience managing construction projects in downtown Boston.
  • Strong knowledge of the complexities associated with urban construction and high-end residential work.
  • Excellent communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage demanding clients, project partners, subcontractors, schedules, and budgets.
  • Must be within a reasonable commute of Boston.
