Its project portfolio is primarily focused on hospitality and food & beverage, complemented by a wide range of commercial interior builds.Job DescriptionThe Project Manager - Historic Restoration and Interior Projects key responsibilities include:Overall project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and executionManage contracts, change orders, buyouts, and cost controlsCoordinate closely with Superintendents, subcontractors, consultants, and vendorsLead collaboration with architects, preservation consultants, agencies, and ownersInterpret historic documentation including archival drawings, surveys, and condition assessmentsNavigate regulatory approvals and agency reviews common to historic projectsOversee quality control processes including mock-ups, test panels, and inspectionsEnsure project compliance with approved preservation methods and materialsManage projects on occupied, phased, or sensitive sitesMaintain safety, protection of historic fabric, and public interfaces when requiredDrive schedules and budgets in complex, high-touch environmentsDeliver polished, high-end interior finishes with a strong eye for detailMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
