Job Description

  • Lead project planning, execution, and close‑out to meet budget, schedule, and quality expectations
  • Manage and support Project Superintendents throughout construction and close‑out
  • Develop and maintain master project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
  • Oversee contract administration, including purchase orders, change orders, submittals, RFIs, and close‑out documentation
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, authorities having jurisdiction, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Conduct weekly owner-architect-contractor meetings and internal financial and schedule reviews
  • Collaborate with estimating teams during preconstruction, bidding, and buy‑out phases
  • Proactively visit jobsites to monitor progress, safety, quality, and coordination

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of Project Manager experience with a commercial General Contractor
  • Proven success delivering profitable, ground‑up commercial construction projects
  • Experience in restaurant, retail, and fuel station construction strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of construction documents, means and methods, and trade coordination
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction accounting and project management software (SAGE experience preferred)
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple schedules and budgets simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel to active project sites on occasion; overnight travel may be required
