From OSU tailgates and company outings to volunteering at local food banks and supporting the community, they place a real emphasis on building relationships both inside and outside of the office.This is an excellent opportunity to join an established, financially stable contractor that combines the resources and reputation of a large GC with a strong, people-first culture and a genuine commitment to employee growth.Job DescriptionThe Project Manager will be responsible for:Driving the overall planning and execution of construction projects from preconstruction through final completion.Creating, maintaining, and updating comprehensive project schedules while collaborating with internal teams and project stakeholders.Managing permitting activities and ensuring all required inspections, approvals, and regulatory requirements are completed on schedule.Leading subcontractor and vendor procurement efforts, including bid reviews, contract negotiations, and project buyout activities.Coordinating with architects, engineers, consultants, and trade partners to support design development, BIM coordination, and issue resolution.Providing regular project updates to clients and company leadership regarding schedule, budget, safety, quality, and project risks.Facilitating owner, architect, and contractor (OAC) meetings and ensuring all stakeholders receive accurate and timely project documentation.Chairing weekly coordination meetings to align project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and field operations.Managing project financials, including billing, pay applications, cost tracking, forecasting, and subcontractor payment processes.Evaluating and administering change management procedures, including scope modifications, pricing reviews, schedule impacts, and owner approvals.Monitoring construction quality throughout the project lifecycle and leading successful punch list and closeout efforts.Partnering with project leadership to promote and enforce a safe work environment while ensuring compliance with company and site-specific safety programs.Supporting project planning activities by reviewing scope requirements and verifying that project execution aligns with contractual obligations.Assisting in the selection and qualification of subcontractors, suppliers, and specialty consultants to support project objectives.Maintaining document control processes to ensure drawings, specifications, revisions, and project records remain current and accessible.Collaborating with field and office teams to develop project phasing strategies that align with budget, schedule, and operational requirements.Fostering a collaborative team environment that promotes accountability, communication, and efficient project execution.Building and maintaining strong relationships with owners, design teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders throughout the construction process.Supporting business development initiatives through participation in client meetings, project pursuits, presentations, and interview processes.Identifying project challenges early and implementing proactive solutions to minimize risk and maintain project objectives.Performing additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned by leadership.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
