Job Description

The Project Manager - Mechanical/Infrastructure - Richmond, VA will be responsible for:

  • Manage pump station and treatment plant projects from kickoff through closeout
  • Oversee mechanical scopes with a strong understanding of civil infrastructure work
  • Coordinate subcontractors, inspectors, and owners on active public works projects
  • Maintain project schedules, budgets, cost tracking, and change management
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and government contracting standards
  • Work closely with Project Executives and senior leadership on delivery strategy
  • Support and mentor APMs and Project Engineers assigned to your projects

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager - Mechanical/Infrastructure - Richmond, VA should have:

  • 5-10 years of experience as a Project Manager in construction
  • Background in mechanical‑heavy infrastructure projects (pump stations, wastewater, treatment plants preferred)
  • Experience with civil, industrial, or heavy infrastructure construction
  • Transportation project experience (WMATA, VDOT, similar) is a plus
  • Ability to work full‑time on site in Richmond or Norfolk, VA
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
