Job Description

The Project Manager - Multifamily Builder - Washington, D.C. will be responsible for:

  • Lead all phases of construction for a $95M, 200-unit, five-story wood-frame multifamily community in DC and Maryland.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, and daily site operations.
  • Collaborate closely with ownership, design teams, consultants, and field personnel to drive project success.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, and project specifications.
  • Manage project financials, cost controls, forecasting, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive project milestones and maintain schedule performance from groundbreaking through final turnover.
  • Foster strong relationships with project stakeholders while proactively resolving challenges and mitigating risks.
  • Lead project teams and provide direction to ensure successful project delivery.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager - Multifamily Builder - Washington, D.C should have:

  • Currently serving as a Project Manager on ground-up construction projects.
  • Demonstrated success delivering new construction multifamily developments from start to finish.
  • Extensive experience with wood-frame multifamily construction projects.
  • Strong leadership, budgeting, scheduling, and project management skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and successfully manage large-scale developments.
  • Experience overseeing projects valued in the $50M+ range preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
