We are seeking an experienced On-Site Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of large-scale wood-frame multifamily developments in the Charleston market. This role will oversee project execution from preconstruction through turnover while managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, safety, and client relationships.

Job Description

    • Lead all phases of multifamily construction projects from groundbreaking through project completion.
    • Manage project schedules, budgets, subcontractor performance, and overall site operations.
    • Coordinate with ownership, development, design, and field teams to ensure successful project delivery.
    • Oversee contract administration, procurement activities, and project reporting.
    • Enforce safety standards and quality control procedures across all phases of construction.
    • Monitor project financial performance and proactively resolve budget or schedule challenges.
    • Drive collaboration between field and office teams to maintain project objectives.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, municipalities, and project stakeholders.

    Requirements to Apply

    • Proven experience as a Project Manager overseeing ground-up multifamily construction projects.
    • Experience managing wood-frame multifamily developments.
    • Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, contract management, and project controls.
    • Ability to lead subcontractors and project teams through all phases of construction.
    • Knowledge of construction safety and quality assurance best practices.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Experience delivering large-scale residential or mixed-use developments preferred.
    • Familiarity with high-growth Southeast markets is a plus.
