Job Description

The Project Manager | Owner's Representative | Commercial Interiors will:

  • Serve as the owner's representative, acting as the primary advocate and trusted advisor for clients throughout the planning, design, construction, and closeout phases.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously across corporate interiors, education, healthcare, multifamily, cultural, media, and private club sectors.
  • Lead project teams consisting of owners, architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, risk management, procurement strategies, and overall project performance.
  • Coordinate design and construction activities to ensure project goals are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Facilitate meetings, prepare project reporting, and maintain clear communication among project stakeholders.
  • Review cost estimates, contracts, change orders, schedules, and project documentation.
  • Support pre-construction efforts, including budgeting, planning, due diligence, and contractor selection.
  • Provide strategic project leadership rather than administrative oversight, ensuring successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Utilize Microsoft 365 and Bluebeam to manage documentation, reporting, and project coordination.

The Successful Applicant

The Project Manager | Owner's Representative | Commercial Interiors will have:

  • 5+ years of construction project management experience within a General Contractor, owner's representation, consulting, or related environment.
  • Strong interiors/TI project experience is highly desired, with candidates from a GC background encouraged to apply.
  • Exposure to multiple project sectors and the ability to operate as a project generalist.
  • Excellent client-facing communication and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor and extension of the client's team.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes from pre-construction through project completion.
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, project teams, and stakeholder communication.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Bluebeam.
  • Self-starter mentality with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
