Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Project Executive, the Project Manager will oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful execution, budget performance, and client satisfaction.

  • Manage ground-up retail and big-box construction projects from award through completion
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, procurement plans, and cost controls
  • Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams
  • Lead contract administration, change management, and risk mitigation efforts
  • Monitor project performance to ensure schedule, quality, and financial objectives are achieved
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and trade partners
  • Support successful project closeout, turnover, and warranty processes

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial construction
  • Proven experience delivering ground-up retail, big-box, grocery, or large-format commercial projects
  • Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and contract management
  • Experience managing projects from site development through final turnover
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods and best practices
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Experience working with national or regional retail clients is highly desirable
