About Our Client

Our client is an established Brooklyn-based General Contractor is seeking a Project Manager to oversee affordable housing renovation projects throughout New York City. The firm specializes in complex occupied rehabilitation work, partnering with NYCHA PACT and HPD programs to modernize and preserve critical housing infrastructure for residents across the five boroughs.

Job Description

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
  • Manage subcontractor procurement and contract administration
  • Coordinate with Superintendents, ownership groups, and consultants
  • Track project financials, change orders, and cost reporting
  • Ensure compliance with project requirements and agency standards
  • Identify and resolve project risks and operational challenges
  • Drive successful project delivery while maintaining client satisfaction

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor
  • Experience in multifamily renovation, affordable housing, or occupied rehab preferred
  • Knowledge of NYCHA PACT, HPD, or public-sector construction projects is a plus
  • Strong budgeting, scheduling, and contract management skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Proficiency with construction management software and reporting tools
