Job Description

Manage multiple phases of construction projects from planning through completion.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and field teams.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates.
  • Monitor project costs and implement strategies to maintain profitability.
  • Review contracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Support procurement, subcontractor management, and project closeout activities.
  • Mentor junior project staff and contribute to team development.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager- Construction- Manhattan should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of construction project management experience.
  • Proven experience managing commercial, residential, healthcare, hospitality, or mixed-use projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
  • Experience with project management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • OSHA certification and industry certifications are a plus.
